Daytime Road Vibration Nuisance Survey and Report
This survey and report is intended for the purpose of providing expert data from a qualified engineer on vibration levels apparent on a structure. This data and report can then be used as evidence by our customers to support any road vibration nuisance claims.
Our survey includes up to 2No. vibration monitoring devices installed at your property. Typically this will include installing one monitor on the ground floor of the property, outside the building facing the vibration source, and one monitor within a habitable room to observe the transfer of vibration through the structure.
Data shall be collected over a period of five daytime hours, between the hours of 9am and 5pm.
Upon completion of the survey, we shall prepare a simplified vibration report detailing our results, including graphical representations of the data, as well as references to specific disturbance events. This report shall reference standards including the ‘Design Manual for Roads and Bridges’ and thresholds defined in BS 5228-2:2009 and BS 7385-21993. We shall also issue the raw data.
The report shall be issued within 10 working days of the completion of the survey.
For any questions, please call us on 01572 770780. Please note that a survey distance cost will be calculated on checkout.
